Battered Women’s Justice Project
Very energetic group of individuals attended training for two days spending their weekend for a noble cause to serve the community. Ms. Sujata Warrier (Chief Strategy Officer for the Battered Women’s Justice Project)came all the way from NJ and was accommodated for Domestic Violence training. In two days, we just touched the surface of this worldwide issue.
We do not have many words to express our sincere gratitude to thank Ms. Sujata Warrier for taking the time to visit us from NJ and conducting the training on Domestic Violence. We at Seva Center for Humanity really appreciated it.
The training was very informative, and Ms. Warrier’s insights, experience and sense of humor were extremely valuable. We learned a lot, but are looking forward to follow-up classes, as we just touched the surface and need to learn more to be active advocates for domestic violence.
Constant training and practice is required on how to teach out to victims of domestic violence but the group was very confident that together we will make the difference in someone’s life. At the end of training attendees were given certificates of attending the class.
