The session started with welcome remarks for everyone joining us. We started the session on the informative information on the Snow storm over the weekend.
Special thanks to volunteers’ team for delivering Fruits/Snacks to under privileged families and session was started with exercise specifically for Heart and back bone, Mr. Kulbhushan shared few beneficial exercises.
Announcement –
- Mental Health certification – $55 per person, 31% on computer training and rest in Person 8 hours training. Let me know if anyone is interested
- Shashi malik shared that SEVA will be participating on March 16th, 20206 “Recognizing and Responding to Community Conflicts”
- Breast cancer screening is on October 3rd, 2026 from 9 to 1pm
- Seva will be participating on May 16th, in Brooklyn Health-fair.

Key Cancer Awareness Observances
- Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month: March is nationally designated to educate the public about colorectal cancer prevention, screening, and treatment. Colorectal cancer is the second deadliest cancer in the U.S., and early detection significantly improves survival rates. - Kidney Cancer Awareness Month: Observed in March to highlight kidney cancer risks, prevention, and treatment options. Events often coincide with World Kidney Day, celebrated on the second Thursday of March, to raise awareness about kidney health and cancer prevention (Cancer Health, Good Good Good).
- Multiple Myeloma Awareness Month: March also focuses on multiple myeloma, a rare blood cancer affecting bone marrow. Awareness campaigns aim to educate about symptoms, treatment options, and support for patients and caregivers (Cancer Health, ChooseHope).
